Tom Chippindale, a passionate outdoors and sports lover. Not one for sitting inside where possible and his media practice reflects this. Branded content production is where Tom's interests lay, but keen on broadcast and film production too. Tom has experience producing corporate marketing videos and also being more hands on in more recent projects such as his climbing mock branded content and this most recent production, Outdoor South Yorkshire. He would like to see himself as a successful producer one day, but is currently looking for runner and production assistant roles or anything to assist him on that journey.
Outdoor South Yorkshire has been a project to promote the range of outdoor activities in South Yorkshire as a safe alternative to our indoor spaces that are still affected by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic response.
It highlights some of the many activities that you can be enjoying in our beautiful open spaces which are good for the mind, body and soul. Especially in this post lockdown stage we find ourselves in. It is content that has been produced in collaboration with companies and promotes them, this is branded content is something I have been working on over my time at Plymouth College of Art.
I am a media practitioner that has found great influence from outdoor and action sports media productions of all sizes and purposes. Branded content has been something I have looked to develop my understanding of. I have qualifications and understanding in marketing, this allows me to use my media knowledge and marketing knowledge to make informed creative decisions to produce better content. Equipped with a broad understanding of media processes which makes myself a good collaborator with other media practitioners on projects, this is something I want to develop further and further.
